¶ Protected Wiki
¶ Background
Most parts of this wiki are made available to the general public to benefit ODU as well as people from other institutions. Some contents in this wiki are protected, since they are intended only for ODU community members (students, faculty, and staff).
¶ Accessing Protected Pages
To access protected wiki pages, you need first to login using your MIDAS ID and password.
¶ Early Login
We recommend that you login to HPC Wiki using the "Person" icon on the top right of the wiki page. On the following page, click the SAML 2.0 button to direct yourself to the familiar MIDAS (Monarch-Key) authentication page. Once authenticated, you will be able to access any of the protected contents.
¶ Late Login
In case you did not login first, you will encounter the following page when you first attempt to open a protected content:
Click LOGIN AS..., then on the next page, click the SAML 2.0 button to direct yourself to the familiar MIDAS (Monarch-Key) authentication page:
Do not enter in your MIDAS ID and password in the "Login required" dialog box. It will not work.
Once authenticated, you will be directed to the wiki main page. Simply re-enter the protected page URL on your browser bar and enjoy the contents!
